New .Info Domains and Domain Payment Policies

Domain name registration is changing and we want to help you take full advantage of the new domains. The first new top level domain, ".info", is scheduled for activation today 1 October 2001 at 4 PM EDT and the ".biz" top level domain is scheduled for activation on 23 October 2001.

You may want to register the ".info" and ".biz" domains to protect your online identity or to reserve the name that you were unable to get with .com, .net, and .org.

PagePlop is pleased to offer special pricing for new ".info" domain registrations during the month of October:

• $ 25 - 1 year
• $ 45 - 2 years
• $110 - 5 years
• $225 - 10 years

In addition, PagePlop is lowering prices for new ".com", ".net", and ".org" registrations as follows:

• $ 30 - 1 year
• $ 50 - 2 years
• $125 - 5 years
• $250 - 10 years

Previously PagePlop has registered new domain names and the registrar has invoiced the billing contact for the domain registration fee. As of 1 October 2001, all major registrars require payment for new domains at the time of registration. Therefore, we have amended our online forms to include a separate domain payment section for new registrations.
